Meet the Longs, superstars of generosity and legacy building! With over two decades of experience under their belt, this power couple has traveled the globe, soaking up unique insights into what makes a community thrive. They're all about helping other families and couples discover their own passion, with a wide variety of tools and resources. Think ministry, coaching, workshops, and retreats - these two do it all! Ron and Andree have set up camp in El Paso, Texas, where they live with their awesome kiddos. When they're not exploring the world as a family, they're teaming up with other organizations to create impactful workshops and retreats for military communities and their loved ones. A true power couples!
Ronsoni Long is a U.S. Army veteran, husband, father, minister, and community volunteer. He is a loyal and committed servant leader with over 20 years of experience teaching, coaching, and mentoring people to embrace organizational values and conduct through cooperative work, team building, problem solving, planning, and
organizing. He is the founder of a 501(c)Non-Profit in El Paso Texas (STRIVE-Family Resource Center) and the Vice-Chairperson of The Family Advisory Council of El Paso Texas. He is currently pursuing a bachelor's in behavioral health science, with and emphasis in Family Dynamics. His current project is the establishing of a foundation for the education and awareness of Dyslexia and learning differences.
Andree Long is an Army veteran spouse of 24 years. A mother of 2 children. She is the co-founder and Executive Pastor of STRIVE, a Family Resource Center for the military and the faith-based community. She is also the founder and CEO of Women Have a Purpose OTM Inc. WHAP OTM is a women's leadership development ministry which Andree established in 2004, but formally launched in 2021. She is a certified life coach and marriage facilitator. She is involved as a co-lead with the Veteran's Spouse Network (VSN) based out of The University of Texas at Austin. She is a co-lead of the Girl Scouts of America. She is an officer of the El Paso Family Advocacy Council (FAC). She volunteers for The Military Veteran Peer Network (MVPN), and as a youth leader at her local church: Rock Faith Center in El Paso, TX. She is also a member of the National Parent Cafe Leadership team of Be Strong Families. In her free time, she likes to pursue music and graphic design. She enjoys being a mentor for youth and young adults.
